Job Summary:The Patient Services Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, community members, and staff. This includes verifying patient information, assisting with productivity, and working closely with clinical staff and medical providers.
Responsibilities:- Provide superior customer service to patients and associates in person and on the telephone.
- Verify patient's information and assist with productivity.
- Work closely with clinical staff and medical providers to ensure seamless communication.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Some post-secondary education is preferred.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification upon hire.
- A minimum of one year working in a medical office with knowledge of medical terminology.
- Basic knowledge of common medications and billing procedures preferred.
- Familiarity with common software programs, (i.e., Windows-based programs).
- Ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, community members, and staff members.
- Health insurance (Employee only) 100% premium paid once eligible.
