Position Overview:
The Supply Chain Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of logistical and operational tasks while adhering to compliance standards. This position requires effective communication and collaboration skills to support various departments and maintain positive relationships with external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate timely and precise shipments, ensuring all documentation is accurate.
- Review vendor invoices for correctness and coordinate approvals with project teams.
- Oversee production schedules and maintain consistent receiving records.
- Work closely with Quality Control representatives to ensure material acceptance.
- Promote a professional work environment and foster positive relationships among team members.
- Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
- Maintain organized project documentation and assist in project management tasks.
- Track and update shipment statuses, ensuring all parties are informed.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training.

Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications include:
- A high school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Prior experience in logistics, shipping, and inventory management.
- At least two years of management experience in logistics operations.
Physical Requirements:
This role may require prolonged periods of sitting and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
