Job Summary:

Integrated Wound Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a Part-Time Wound Care Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality wound care services to patients in skilled nursing, long-term care, and rehabilitation facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Ultra Mist therapy services for patients, utilizing our proprietary technology to promote optimal wound healing.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and achieve exceptional outcomes.
  • Accurately and efficiently document patient information, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Educate patients and their families on wound care, prevention, and management strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal results.

Requirements:

  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of employment.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in wound care, with a proven track record of success.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
  • Comfortable with technology and electronic medical records, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems.
