Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff on wound care best practices and evidence-based protocols.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in wound care, incorporating new knowledge and skills into practice.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in wound care or a related field.
  • Advanced education in wound care or a related field (e.g., Master's degree in Nursing or a related field).
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in wound care, including debridement, dressing changes, and other wound care interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
