Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage patients with acute and chronic wounds, burns, and ostomies
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote wound healing and prevent complications
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on wound care and ostomy management
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in wound care and ostomy management
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (WOC) nursing
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Louisiana
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in wound care and ostomy management
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
