Position Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst will report directly to the FP&A Manager and will be pivotal in steering cross-departmental FP&A initiatives throughout the organization. This includes responsibilities in budgeting, forecasting, and providing insightful ad hoc reporting and data analysis to guide strategic and operational choices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the formulation of a dynamic forecasting process that is efficient and adds value.
  • Prepare a comprehensive monthly financial reporting package for management and the Board of Directors, delivering timely and insightful financial analysis to evaluate performance against budget and forecast across essential financial and operational metrics.
  • Oversee the organizational capital allocation model, ensuring that investments align with strategic objectives, tracking ongoing expenditures/ROI, and enhancing processes to improve visibility and facilitate data-driven decisions.
  • Act as the project lead for various strategic initiatives, including new product launches, cost-saving measures, and business acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with the Direct to Consumer team to standardize reporting and establish key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Work alongside department leaders to create reporting frameworks that support the growth of the L&A business, focusing on financial performance and KPI metrics.
  • Enhance Finished Goods inventory reporting and assist operations with planning.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong foundational knowledge of accounting, finance, production, and operational principles.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, particularly in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Proficient in Excel with a solid background in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Experience in the manufacturing and consumer products sectors is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple entities or engage in complex financial modeling.
  • Proven capability to work collaboratively across functions in both leadership and support roles.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or Business; CPA/MAcc/MSF/MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing corporate financial planning and budgeting processes, along with delivering impactful financial reporting and analysis.
  • Familiarity with financial planning tools and ERP systems (Power BI, D365, and OneStream) is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles is beneficial.

Travel Requirements

This position is primarily office-based but may necessitate occasional travel to manufacturing and sales locations (approximately 10%).

Physical Demands

Typical office environment requiring the ability to sit for extended periods, stand, walk, and use standard office equipment.
