Job Title: Climate Intern

Bread for the World, Inc. is a Christian advocacy organization working towards a world without hunger. As a Climate Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our climate strategy efforts, including researching and analyzing climate-related policies, developing educational materials, and collaborating with team members to advance racial equity and social justice. Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of our climate strategy through research, analysis, and educational programming
- Assist with coalition meetings, climate events, and other activities related to climate change and food security
- Develop written materials, such as memos and publications, on climate change and its effects
- Collaborate with team members to advance racial equity and address social justice issues related to hunger and poverty

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, policy, or a related field
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Ability to present findings to various audiences
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their role in promoting awareness about climate change

Compensation:
The estimated salary for this position is $22/hour (approx. $45,600/year), based on 20 hours/week. However, please note that this is an unpaid internship opportunity.
