Climate Action Manager

The American Institute of Architects (AIA) is seeking a highly skilled Climate Action Manager to join our team. This exciting role will involve leading climate action initiatives and promoting sustainability practices within the architecture community.
">Job Description:
- This position will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that promote climate action and design excellence in the built environment.
- Manage various member working groups, including the Committee on the Environment (COTE), to achieve overall goals for Climate Action and Design Excellence.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with volunteer and staff leaders affiliated with climate action programs.
- Actively identify and recruit diverse, volunteer leaders through AIA to support climate action efforts.
- Coordinate knowledge capture, delivery, and overall project management of all Climate Action and Design Excellence programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts, Business, Architecture or related fields.
- A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in climate change mitigation and adaptation issues and design practices for sustainability and resilience.
- Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Salary:$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
