Senior Geologist

NV5 is a leading provider of engineering and consulting services to public and private sector clients. We deliver solutions through six business verticals: Testing, Inspection & Consulting; Infrastructure; Utility Services; Environmental Health Sciences; Buildings & Program Management; and Geospatial Technology.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geologist to join our Pacific Northwest teams. The successful candidate will have a geotechnical background and experience in managing geologic and geotechnical engineering investigations, performing engineering design, and managing construction materials testing and special inspections.

• Project Management: Develop project objectives, determine project scope, and coordinate resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Geotechnical Expertise: Supervise field work, analyze test results, and ensure projects are completed according to contractual requirements.
• Client Relationship Management: Maintain client relationships, manage client expectations, and ensure overall quality of work.
• Technical Documentation: Review and create technical documents, interpret technical plans and specifications, and accurately report observations and test results.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or equivalent.
• Experience: 6 or more years of experience in engineering and/or geology.
• Certifications: Registered RG, CEG, PE, GE, or equivalent.
