Job Title: Intake Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Intake Specialist to join our team at Joye Law Firm. As an Intake Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional client service and ensuring that our clients receive the best possible representation.

Job Summary:

The Intake Specialist will be responsible for handling all new client inquiries, processing and initial paperwork for potential cases, and scheduling initial telephone calls between attorneys and potential clients. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer multi-line phone system with a pleasant, respectful, and professional attitude.
  • Handle all new client inquiries, processing and initial paperwork for potential cases.
  • Schedule initial telephone calls between attorneys and potential clients.
  • Work with clients to complete intake documents.
  • Meet with potential clients who visit the firm without an appointment to gather information necessary to evaluate a case.
  • Locate an attorney to meet with the client to determine whether or not we wish to take the case.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Outlook and Needles Case Management software.
