The University Health Ambulatory Pharmacies are in search of a dedicated Pharmacy Liaison to assist patients in selecting University Health System as their preferred pharmacy during their clinic visits. This role is crucial in achieving daily targets by obtaining patient consent and enhancing medication adherence, ensuring that patients receive their prescribed medications promptly after their appointments.
Key Responsibilities:
The Pharmacy Liaison will collaborate closely with the University Health System Clinic and Pharmacy teams to deliver an exceptional patient experience. The ideal candidate will possess flexibility, self-motivation, and prior experience in sales and healthcare environments. Strong customer service skills are essential for educating patients about the Pharmacy Program and facilitating their access to prescription medications on-site.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience is mandatory.
- Preferred coursework in marketing, sales, business, or related fields.
- Two or more years of experience in inside or outside sales is advantageous.
- Professional demeanor is required to maintain confidentiality in a medical setting.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Ability to thrive in both team-oriented and independent work environments.
