PART TIME

JOB TITLE: Training Specialist

REPORTS TO: Director of Learning and Leadership Development

SUPERVISES: No supervisory responsibilities

WORKS CLOSELY WITH: Human Resources

JOB SUMMARY: The Training Specialist is tasked with engaging youth and community members in the Agriculture Industry and promoting 21st Century Equipment. This role requires a strong passion for agriculture and a commitment to showcasing advancements and career opportunities within the sector to youth and community stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Collaborate with management to create and execute a comprehensive training strategy tailored to the target audience.
  • Assess training requirements.
  • Develop educational materials and curriculum.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops as necessary throughout the service area.
  • Oversee and maintain mobile learning resources.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with local educational institutions and community organizations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • A college degree is required, with a preference for degrees in agriculture or education.
  • Experience in agriculture is essential.
  • Prior teaching or training experience is required.
  • A Class A CDL is preferred.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation abilities.
  • Capacity to inspire enthusiasm among youth regarding agricultural technology and career paths.
  • Aptitude for engaging with diverse age groups.
  • Familiarity with agricultural practices.
  • Proficient in various presentation media and techniques.
  • Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to planning and organization.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The role involves extended periods of driving, standing, sitting, and keyboarding. Frequent travel may be required, including some overnight stays. The ability to lift up to 25 lbs is necessary.
