BETA Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Highway Project Engineer to lead our transportation team. This position will play a key role in performing highway design, developing contract plans and documents, and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement highway design projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical oversight and guidance to junior staff, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Prepare and review contract documents, reports, and proposals, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, construction, and project management, to deliver high-quality projects.
- Contribute to business development and proposal pursuits, leveraging expertise to secure new projects and clients.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer license preferred.
- 8-15 years of experience in highway design, stormwater management, ADA compliance, and roadway construction practices.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil3D and Microstation OpenRoads Designer.
- Experience with MUTCD, AASHTO, and MassDOT design requirements.
