Job Title: Global Sourcing Director
Job Summary:
The Global Sourcing Director is a senior leadership position responsible for constructing and operating processes, systems, and customer interfaces to support Qualcomm's growth.
This role will be instrumental in developing, providing, and executing sourcing strategies, options, and working with internal customers to conclude decisions based on technology, cost, and schedule requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business aspects of complex, high-impact supplier agreements in collaboration with suppliers and internal cross-functional organizations.
- Responsible for contract negotiations, cost, technology enablement, product development, and services to ensure capacity and supply assurance.
- Collaborate internally and externally to plan and execute work based on an understanding of factors such as design changes, cost targets, and changes to scheduled and quantities.
- Determine next steps and associated risks.
- Collaborate and coordinate across all functions, including business unit, sales, customer service, supply chain, and finance, to understand and solve customer issues that span individual functional responsibilities.
- Build and develop a team of direct reports, providing ongoing communication, performance feedback, and creating an inclusive and collaborative environment.
- Lead the team to conduct and manage advanced data analysis to identify problems and develop solutions.
- Communicate direction and lead negotiations with all levels of supplier management to develop and deploy appropriate strategies, contracts, and business relationships that satisfy current and future business needs.
- Monitor key supplier performance for on-time delivery, quality, and other needed KPIs as part of our continuous improvement environment.
Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and value chain, including contracts, demand management, sales and operations planning, procurement, order management, and logistics.
- Experience and skill working with customers, including senior leadership.
- Ability to communicate effectively at executive and functional work levels.
- Ability to create complex and multi-layered strategy within supply chain systems that aligns with corporate strategies and objectives over time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or related field.
- 10+ years of industry-specific experience in Procurement, Operations, or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business, Operations, or related field.
- 12+ years of industry-specific experience in Procurement, Operations, or related work experience.
- 4+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
- 4+ years in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports.
- 3+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership.
- 1+ year working with operating budgets and/or project financials.

Pay Range: $162,500.00 - $243,500.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
