About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned technical leader to drive the success of our groundbreaking AmpereOne Aurora product.

As the Simulation Software AI Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge hardware simulation software toolchains, with a focus on instruction set simulators and memory controllers tailored for RISC/ARM-like architectures.

You will develop advanced software models for processor features, ensuring accuracy in functional and cycle-accurate simulations, as well as seamless HW/SW integration.

Spearhead the verification of software models within a sophisticated hardware-software co-simulation environment, guaranteeing reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of simulation software toolchains
  • Develop advanced software models for processor features
  • Verify software models within a hardware-software co-simulation environment
Requirements

We are looking for a strong technical leader with:

  • BS degree with 15 years of related experience, or an MS degree with 12 years of hands-on expertise in the field
  • Strong experience developing modeling tools for performance analysis or Hardware/Software Co-simulation
  • Advanced development skills in C/C++ and Python
  • Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLM) and their execution patterns
  • Knowledge of Instruction Set Architecture (ISA), CPU microarchitecture, and assembly language
  • Experience developing software on Linux environment
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to create, measure, and evaluate development tradeoffs
  • Effective communication skills and ability to convey complex technical concepts

The full base pay range for this role is between $195,400 and $325,600, except in the San Francisco Bay Area where the range is between $201,400 and $335,600.
