Human Resources Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resource Administrator to join our team at EverStaff. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing essential support in maintaining smooth HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Process weekly payroll for all company divisions under the direct supervision of the HR Director.
- Prepare and manage payroll journal entries.
- Maintain accurate employee records and files.
- Prepare and coordinate onboarding packages for new hires.
- Administer background checks for prospective employees.
- Handle forms related to workers' compensation claims.
- Present benefits packages to eligible employees.
- Administer COBRA Qualifying Event notices.
- Reconcile monthly insurance invoices.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR Director in daily tasks.
- Proven ability to effectively interact with a diverse workforce.
- Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment while upholding company standards for exceptional service.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with strong overall computer skills.
- Solid general math skills; knowledge of accounting principles (credits & debits) is a plus.
- Education and Experience: High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred. 3-5 years of relevant professional experience or equivalent education.
