About the Position

The County of Sonoma, CA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant County Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in assisting the County Executive in making major financial, administrative, and policy recommendations to the Board.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the County Executive in developing and implementing strategic plans and initiatives
  • Provide operational support to County departments and agencies
  • Develop and manage budgets and financial plans
  • Collaborate with department heads and other stakeholders to achieve organizational goals
  • Represent the County in various forums and meetings

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a senior administrative or management role in a public sector organization
