Position Overview:
Reporting to the Manager of Broker's Assistants and collaborating with designated Brokers Assistant(s) and other supervisors, the role encompasses a variety of responsibilities related to the solicitation and placement of insurance policies for M.J. Hall's sub-producers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist and take direction from the designated Brokers Assistant and Lead Broker(s) in all operational aspects.
- Engage in learning about the commercial lines insurance sector, with a focus on the Excess & Surplus Lines domain.
- Complete formal industry training courses to enhance technical knowledge.
- Expand knowledge and networking opportunities by participating in professional training schools within the industry.
- Serve as a full-time Clerical Assistant to gain insights into carrier operations.
- Pursue professional designations for enhanced credibility and career development.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Completion of two or more years of college along with some insurance coursework such as INS21, CIC, CISR, AU, or CPCU.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and Agency Management Systems.
- Understanding of TIF documents.
