Associate Director, Reunion Giving

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director, Reunion Giving to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading our reunion giving efforts, developing and implementing strategies to engage alumni and secure significant gifts for the university.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive reunion giving strategies to meet or exceed annual fundraising goals.
- Lead a team of development officers to identify, cultivate, and solicit major gifts from alumni and friends of the university.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the university to develop and implement alumni engagement initiatives that foster a sense of community and encourage giving.
- Manage and analyze data to inform fundraising strategies and measure program effectiveness.
- Supervise and mentor development officers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, alumni engagement, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in leading teams and developing and executing fundraising strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with alumni, donors, and colleagues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and analyze data to inform fundraising strategies.
- Experience working in a higher education or non-profit setting.
- Knowledge of fundraising principles and practices, including major gifts, annual giving, and planned giving.
- Experience with donor relations and stewardship, including creating and implementing donor recognition programs.
