Program planning offers a unique perspective on the complexities of helicopter production.

In this role, the selected candidate will gain valuable insights into the helicopter manufacturing process through collaboration with various departments including Finance, Contracts, Proposals, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Supportability.

Ideal candidates will possess planning experience and be prepared to quickly provide scheduling analysis and expertise to the program team.

This position supports a classified program and will be based in Colorado Springs, CO.


As a Senior Integrated Program Planner, you will collaborate within a cross-functional team, working closely with business units to deliver timely solutions to our clients.

You will engage with program management, finance, customers, functional leads, and control account managers (CAMs). This role presents an opportunity for career advancement within the aerospace sector and encourages professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, input, analyze, and report status progress accurately and promptly.
  • Ensure Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) are interconnected to facilitate Critical Path analysis and reconciliation.
  • Contribute to the preparation of detailed analyses for significant Program Events on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Assist in evaluating key intermediate milestones to provide updates to the Integrated Master Plan (IMP).
  • Coordinate with major suppliers to gather and deliver current scheduling information.
  • Manage schedule baseline control and assist in variance analysis on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Support proposal development, costing, and cost/schedule integration, including Risk Management Cube integration and mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct required schedule assessments utilizing Risk Management tools.
  • Prepare and present briefing materials to management and clients in a professional and efficient manner.
Basic Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • Knowledge of Program Performance Management, experience with EVMS, and integrated cost & scheduling tool implementation.
  • Proficiency in presenting various report types to senior management (IMPR/IPMDAR experience).
  • Strong organizational, planning, management, problem-solving, and execution skills applicable to multiple projects.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to thrive in a classified, fast-paced environment while addressing complex issues and meeting deadlines.
  • Extensive experience in developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with Open Plan.
  • Ability to consolidate detailed scheduling data into management-level reports.
  • Experience with baselining.
  • Background in program start-up.
  • Proficient in Excel (V-Lookup, Pivot Tables, etc.).
  • Knowledge of cost and schedule integration related to EVMS.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Experience with DCMA surveillance.
Security Clearance Statement: This position necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. Citizens for consideration.

Remote Work Capability: Onsite Full-time: The responsibilities associated with this position will be performed at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports various alternate work schedules that offer additional flexibility to employees. These schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week to condensed options that provide extra time away from the office, in addition to our Paid Time Off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour days, with 3 days off per week.

Compensation:


The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington, or Washington DC is $91,300 - $175,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Lockheed Martin considers various factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and market considerations when extending an offer.

Non-represented full-time employees:

accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.

Represented full-time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on the start date during the calendar year.

This position is eligible for an incentive plan.
