Position Overview:

ENSCO is in search of a dynamic and resourceful individual to join our team as a Senior Systems Integration Specialist. This role is pivotal in supporting the U.S. Space Force's MILSATCOM Program under the MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (MSEIT) contract.

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) methodologies to aid in the formulation of technical baselines.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of system requirements to ensure alignment with the established technical baseline and its verification.
  • Collaborate with both Government and contractor teams to bridge gaps in the flow of customer requirements throughout the system and component levels.
  • Lead and facilitate Government/Contractor Working Group meetings, including the preparation of briefings, leading discussions, and documenting meeting minutes to address risks, requirement gaps, and action items.
  • Evaluate proposed modifications to the technical baseline for their effects on enterprise capabilities and integration concerns across stakeholders.
  • Oversee the review of program documentation by providing insightful comments, compiling feedback from other reviewers, and coordinating with contractors to resolve any issues.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to assess technical challenges and prepare presentations for U.S. Air Force management.
  • Assist in managing risks, issues, and interdependencies, identifying scheduling conflicts, and developing actionable plans for resolution.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science, or network and telecommunications.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in systems engineering.
  • At least 4 years of experience with system specification, verification, or analysis.
  • Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and associated tools for requirements development and traceability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage competing priorities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication (both oral and written), and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • U.S. Citizenship and eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance are mandatory for this position.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Certifications in Systems Engineering (e.g., INCOSE ESEP, CSEP).
  • Certifications in MBSE (e.g., OCSMP).
  • Experience with Agile Development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of MILSATCOM systems, including AEHF, EPS, WGS, and FAB-T terminal programs.
  • Experience collaborating with military or DoD civilian clients.
  • Background in ground and airborne systems, including terminals and networks.
