About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Support Specialist to join our team at Safran. As a key member of our Customer Service team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth processing of customer orders and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using our ERP system
  • Partner with the Integrated Project Team to ensure customer orders are processed correctly
  • Validate entered order information by checking against customer purchase orders
  • Maintain a Purchase Order (PO) entry tracker to provide visibility to the Contracts and Accounting teams
  • Review aging report weekly and provide updates to the Accounts Receivable department regarding past dues accounts
  • Coordinate order and shipping related matters with production, planning, shipping, and responsible stakeholders
  • Coordinate customer complaint handling in cooperation with the department manager
  • Educate internal customers and departments on customer characteristics to improve sales and profitability

Requirements
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2-3 years of data entry experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic ERP/MRP functions and applications is preferred
