We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Glidewell Dental. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and quality in our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
- Ensure food and products are consistently prepared and served according to our recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.
- Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility, and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
- Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with our policies and procedures.
- Assist in the daily operations of the restaurant from ordering, purchasing, receiving, storage, and preparation of all food products to guest relations, flow of business, and service standards.
- Assist with managing the flow of the business during business hours and help quality control all areas of the restaurant during dining periods.
- Ensure the standard of food, service, safety, and cleanliness is maintained and executed.
- Engage customers, delivering superior service and maximize customer satisfaction. Address and resolve any concerns and/or complaints.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure accuracy of drawer cash outs.
- Assist in the interviewing, hiring, and training of personnel. Perform performance management and disciplinary action as needed.
- Help develop work schedules for maximum efficiency and as workflow designates.
- Review cost and usage reports and advise management on popular and unpopular food and beverage items.
- Inform management of supplies, products, and/or any other inventory items needed.
- Assist with food preparation and any other facets of the restaurant when needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one (1) year of restaurant management experience.
- Previous leadership experience preferred.
- Valid California driver's license and proof of insurance required.
- ServSafe Manager Certification required.
- Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification required.
