Job Summary:

The Assistant General Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. This individual will assist the General Manager in directing daily business operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and staff supervision. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a supervisory role, with strong leadership and organizational skills. They will be able to motivate staff, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives effectively. This position requires a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. The Assistant General Manager will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as maintaining a positive and professional work environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Manager in directing daily business operations

Requirements:

  • At least 6 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations and management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a restaurant management role
  • Knowledge of restaurant software and systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands:

  • Individuals may need to sit and stand as needed
  • The position may require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.
  • The employee may reach above shoulder height or below the waist or lift as required throughout the work day.
Proper lifting techniques are required.
