Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Associate Dean of Biology and/or the Administrative Assistant, this role involves managing office communications, including answering phones, responding to departmental inquiries, and welcoming visitors such as staff, faculty, students, and guests.

Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of standard office practices and procedures while accurately following both written and verbal instructions.
- Uphold a high standard of professionalism, courtesy, and attendance.
- Manage incoming calls to the office.
- Operate various office equipment efficiently.
- Execute a range of administrative tasks as required.

Minimum Qualifications
- Previous experience in a receptionist or similar role.

- Proficient in effective communication, whether in person, via email, or over the phone.

- Skilled in collaborating with diverse groups, including community college students, faculty, and staff, as well as individuals with disabilities.
