Position Overview

Program Coordinator III

The Program Coordinator III plays a crucial role in supporting a wide range of operations aimed at enhancing national security and emergency response initiatives. This position is integral to the management of various programs, ensuring compliance with established policies and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and report discrepancies within the General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS).
  • Provide expert guidance in accordance with regulatory frameworks and local policies.
  • Facilitate and participate in regular meetings to discuss program updates.
  • Coordinate program activities to ensure alignment and compliance with relevant procedures.
  • Assist customers by addressing inquiries related to program activities and resolving issues.
  • Verify the completeness and accuracy of program purchase requests.
  • Maintain event schedules and generate various reports using Excel.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of request logs.
  • Track program event schedules effectively.
  • Compile and submit status reports on program progress.
  • Support emergency planning through program management functions.
  • Review training evaluations and provide daily weather updates.
  • Manage inventory systems and provide intelligence assessments to support decision-making.
  • Utilize analytical systems to forecast equipment movements.
  • Attend program meetings and provide logistical updates.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent with relevant experience in program coordination.
  • Combination of education and experience must demonstrate the necessary knowledge and skills for the role.
  • Successful completion of a background check.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to learn various systems and software programs relevant to the role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Capability to travel as required for meetings and training.
