Vaco Phoenix is seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to join a leading HVAC client in the industry. The role of the Procurement Manager entails full responsibility for procurement operations, including vendor management, contract negotiations, and inventory control, to drive company growth and meet operational objectives.

This permanent position offers a competitive annual salary and requires on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to optimize inventory levels and drive business growth.
  • Select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery performance to ensure a stable supply chain.
  • Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and reduce costs.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address quality, delivery, and cost issues to maintain a high level of service.
  • Forecast future purchasing needs by analyzing market trends and industry developments.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations to align purchasing activities with business goals and objectives.
  • Manage the purchasing budget effectively to ensure efficient use of resources.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, with a preference for HVAC industry experience.
  • Strong skills in negotiation and vendor management to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Proficient in inventory management software and MS Office Suite to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
