OVERVIEW
The Sales Executive Leader will oversee the sales functions of the hotel, aiming to optimize revenue per available room (REVPAR) and overall financial performance. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies to meet the hotel's objectives for both pricing and occupancy.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
To excel in this position, the candidate must effectively perform the following duties:
- Cultivate new and existing business relationships to surpass revenue targets through proactive outreach, networking, and effective communication.
- Stay informed about market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer preferences.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, community gatherings, and industry conferences.
- Prepare client correspondence, maintain internal booking records, and ensure timely follow-up on contracts.
- Engage in revenue management discussions, budget planning, and sales forecasting.
- Employ innovative sales techniques to attract new clients and develop tailored proposals.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on sales processes and customer engagement.
- Monitor and respond to guest feedback to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A solid understanding of the hospitality industry and business management principles.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office and hospitality management software.
- The ability to analyze market trends and make informed decisions.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
- A proactive approach to building relationships within the community.

EDUCATION
A minimum of an associate degree is required, with a preference for a bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE
Candidates should have at least five years of sales experience, with a preference for those who have worked in the hospitality sector.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not include supervisory duties.

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
A valid driver's license and relevant brand training are required.

ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The role primarily involves indoor work in a controlled environment. Candidates should be prepared for extended periods of sitting, standing, or walking, and must be able to operate office equipment. Occasional travel may be required for training and client meetings.

OTHER
The Sales Executive Leader may be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on the needs of the business. Consistent attendance is crucial for success in this role.
