Respiratory Therapist Seasonal PRN Opportunity

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

About the Role

The Respiratory Therapist coordinates and delivers respiratory care services to patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures to evaluate patient respiratory status and develop treatment plans.
  • Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation as needed.
  • Document patient assessment and treatment plans in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A degree in Respiratory Care or a related field.
  • Current registration as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
  • Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in a respiratory care department.
