About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient-centered respiratory care in our dynamic department. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy. You will also initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation, and conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for, and response to, respiratory therapy.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and document patient assessment, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for, and response to, respiratory therapy.
  • Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.

Requirements:

  • RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP) certification.
  • State Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • Associate Degree in Respiratory Care required.
