Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Control Specialist to join our team at Duravant. This role will be responsible for coordinating the flow of work within or between departments of Manufacturing to expedite production as needed to meet scheduled equipment shipment dates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Manufacturing with setting priorities to meet shipment schedule
  • Review part shortages and work with Scheduling, Purchasing, and Engineering to resolve them
  • Communicate with Project Managers to provide updated shipment dates based on available data
  • Maintain weekly on-time shipment database
  • Complete root cause analysis on late shipment of equipment
  • Create weekly Production Report using existing reports and data from the MRP system
  • Lead weekly Production Meeting with Project Managers and assign action items as required
  • Implement engineering changes as required by Note Changes and/or ECO implementation tasks
Requirements
  • Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • Four to six years of related experience and/or training
  • Experience working in an MRP system and/or an ERP system
  • Experience interpreting Engineering drawings is highly recommended
