Job Title: Industrial Controls Specialist

Job Summary:

Albireo Energy is a leader in the Pacific Northwest for open-protocol and custom developed Industrial Control systems. We are seeking an entry level Industrial Controls Specialist to join our growing Industrial Controls team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute controls projects with an emphasis on delivering PLC and HMI/SCADA products utilizing industry standard platforms.
  • Collaborate with engineering to design robust industrial control systems.
  • Perform systems integrations using a wide variety of serial and ethernet protocols.
  • Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing as required.
  • Prepare proposals and review of plans and specifications.
  • Meet and present to customers, internal and external.
  • Prepare technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables.

Requirements:

  • 0-2+ years in PLC programming utilizing IEC-61131 languages.
  • 0-2+ years in HMI/SCADA design and programming.
  • 0-2+ years in electrical schematic design for control systems.
  • Excellent candidates will have exposure or experience with common industrial automation communication protocols.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science or related fields.
