JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Vice President of Retail Operations to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role will involve leading the strategic development and operational management of our retail outlets. The successful candidate will oversee new store launches, market expansions, and significant renovations, acting as the primary liaison among various departments including Retail Leadership, Construction, Real Estate, Compliance, IT, and Store Operations.

CORE JOB DUTIES

  1. Provide comprehensive leadership and ensure timely execution of retail expansion initiatives, including new store openings and rebranding efforts.
  2. Oversee the integration of essential functional areas such as construction, marketing, IT, and compliance to achieve project goals and business objectives.
  3. Ensure the successful launch of new retail locations while adhering to all regulatory requirements and maintaining design standards.
  4. Manage vendor relationships and budgets to ensure consistency and quality across all retail locations.
  5. Collaborate with marketing and design teams to enhance brand representation and customer experience.
  6. Act as a key representative during due diligence processes for mergers and acquisitions, contributing to strategic planning and integration efforts.
  7. Anticipate industry trends and develop strategies that foster competitive advantages.
  8. Work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data, identify challenges, and make informed decisions.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

  • 10+ years of experience in retail operations with a focus on multi-unit management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel and data visualization tools.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and decision-making abilities under pressure.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and opportunities within the cannabis sector.
  • Experience in team building and management, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving financial targets and driving business results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of integrity and motivation.
  • Willingness to travel as required for business needs.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
