Position Summary

The HR Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle. This position collaborates with internal teams and external partners to establish systems, processes, and programs that foster employee success. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Enhancing the Employee Experience by engaging with staff and management during pivotal moments in the employment relationship, including Development, Accommodations, Workplace Safety, and Performance Management.
  • Promoting awareness, understanding, and adherence to employment fundamentals, company policies, and pertinent employment legislation through coaching, presentations, and training sessions.
  • Conducting prompt, impartial, and comprehensive internal investigations related to allegations of harassment, discrimination, accommodations, and retaliation, while preparing all necessary documentation.
  • Acting as an employee advocate by proactively implementing and maintaining relevant business solutions, tools, and resources to positively influence the employee experience.
  • Recommending innovative strategies, policies, and procedures to continuously enhance departmental efficiency and service delivery.
  • Supporting strategic initiatives and projects within the HR department.
  • Performing additional related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution and 2-3 years of experience as an HR Generalist.
  • Proficiency in Human Resource/Payroll Systems and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
  • Familiarity with US employment laws, including FMLA/ADA, EEOC, and FLSA.
