Pediatric Care Manager

Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is a leader in pediatric and adolescent health. We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Care Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of nursing experience with advanced level pediatric clinical experience and utilization management and/or discharge planning experience. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required, and a Master's degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration, or related field is preferred.

The Pediatric Care Manager will perform complex discharge planning for patients of different ages and developmental levels with serious illnesses. The candidate will focus on patients with complexities related to finance and/or resource utilization and act as an advocate for the patient/family by collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement a case management plan to ensure quality patient outcomes and customer satisfaction in a cost-effective manner.

The successful candidate will participate/facilitate in the development and outcome analysis of clinical pathways as a member of the multidisciplinary CQI team. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills are required, and fluency in both English and Spanish is desired.
