Pediatric Care Specialist

At Children's Hospital Los Angeles, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality care to our patients. As a Pediatric Care Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of pediatric medicine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive nursing and medical services to patients, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic diseases, working autonomously and in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Function as a healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant, patient advocate, and mentor for NP colleague development.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing from an NLN-accredited graduate school of nursing.
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
  • Current California Registered Nurse License and current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • AHA BLS/PALS and National Certification as an NP in specialty field.
