Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in PICU and a strong background in pediatric critical care. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage critically ill pediatric patients
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Requirements:
  • BSN degree
  • CA License (no temporary licenses accepted)
  • AHA BLS and PALS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of PICU experience, preferably in a level 1 trauma hospital
  • CVICU experience preferred
Work Schedule:

3X12-rotating days/night shifts, 4-5 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule

Additional Requirements:
  • Current and valid DL or government-issued photo ID
  • ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, EFM, and NIH Stroke certifications
  • IV Certification (LVN/LPN/Other)
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
