Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Building Assembler to join our team at Dunn Building Company LLC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for laying out, positioning, and aligning fabricated parts of structural and sheet metal building products to weld, bolt, or screw together.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and sequence operations to ensure efficient and safe work practices
  • Moves parts into position and aligns them for assembly
  • May perform welding tasks as needed (if certified)
  • Straightens warped or bent parts and positions or tightens braces, jacks, clamps, ropes, or bolt straps
  • Operates aerial lifts or scissor lifts (if certified) to reach higher elevations for connecting
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification is preferred
  • First Aid/CPR certification is a plus
  • Welding certification is a plus
Working Conditions

The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work in high, precarious places, with exposure to fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and moderate noise levels.
