Healthcare Architect

- Lead and participate in the architectural design process for healthcare projects, developing conceptual designs, space planning layouts, and 3D models using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements, goals, and objectives, developing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Stay up-to-date with building codes, regulations, and healthcare industry guidelines relevant to healthcare facilities, ensuring that architectural designs and construction documents comply with all applicable codes.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to understand their specific needs and workflows, designing functional and efficient spaces that optimize patient care, staff productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Prepare accurate and detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents, collaborating with engineers and other consultants to integrate their designs into the overall project documentation.
- Conduct thorough quality control reviews of architectural designs and construction documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, communicating project progress, addressing concerns, and managing client expectations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Architect with relevant experience in healthcare architecture, knowledge of healthcare design guidelines, building codes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of healthcare design principles, including patient flow, infection control, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
