Position Overview:

The Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO) is a pivotal member of the ACAP Senior Leadership team, serving as a strategic and innovative thought leader on all matters related to technology.

The CITO will oversee the planning, development, implementation, security, and operation of the organization's information technology (IT) systems.

This role encompasses leadership, hands-on management, and strategic direction across all IT domains, including digital transformation, infrastructure, networks, telecommunications, cybersecurity, enterprise data management, application development, vendor relationships, desktop support, and disaster recovery/business continuity.

The CITO will cultivate an environment that fosters an effective, engaged, and motivated IT team while providing strategic insights to ensure solutions align with ACAP's long-term and short-term objectives.


Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the formulation and execution of the IT strategic plan and roadmap in alignment with the enterprise strategy.

- Act as a senior team member, offering expert advice and guidance on various IT-related issues to the management team.

- Oversee the technological infrastructure and critical data systems.

- Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and best practices, ensuring adherence to established methodologies and documentation standards.

- Manage IT vendor relationships to foster strong partnerships and strategic alignment.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify technological needs and develop solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide mentorship to the IT team, promoting a culture of collaboration and professional growth.
- Identify new technologies and opportunities for process improvements.
- Develop IT budgets that support both long-term and short-term goals.
- Ensure robust IT disaster recovery capabilities and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in implementing and architecting complex data management and business intelligence capabilities, with at least 5 years in technology management within a large IT organization.

- Proven ability to align IT solutions with business strategies and goals.

- Experience in healthcare managed care is essential.

- Demonstrated capability in designing and implementing complex solutions within a healthcare data ecosystem.

- Strong analytical skills and a logical approach to problem-solving.

- Familiarity with application system infrastructure and enterprise IT concepts.

- Exceptional project management skills and the ability to foster a collaborative team environment.

- Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

- Leadership experience in guiding teams to achieve deadlines and objectives.

- Understanding and sensitivity to multicultural values and beliefs.
