Job Summary

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory/Technical Assistant to join our team in the School of Arts & Sciences (SAS). As a key member of our research team, you will provide basic level laboratory and technical support, involving the application of scientific research methods and techniques, specifically in the study of LTMR subtypes and their roles in innocuous touch circuitry in the mouse spinal cord.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides basic level laboratory and technical support, involving the application of scientific research methods and techniques.
  • Assists in the study of LTMR subtypes and their roles in innocuous touch circuitry in the mouse spinal cord.
  • Supports the development and implementation of research protocols and tests.
  • Collaborates with research team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant laboratory technician or research study experience.
  • Strong knowledge of scientific research methods and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced research environment.
