Human Resources Administrator

Vulcan Materials Company is a leading producer of construction aggregates and a major producer of aggregates-based construction materials. As a Human Resources Administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting the HR department's staff and contributing to the company's mission to build America's future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide diversified administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling physicals, coordinating new hire referencing, and maintaining personnel records.
  • Assist in all phases of the employment process, including benefit administration, employee relations, and communications.
  • Provide Kronos support and backup, payroll-related support and backup, and handle administrative aspects of leave program administration.
  • Assist in miscellaneous HR activities, including employee presentations and training.
Requirements:
  • A high school degree, with a strong preference for an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
  • Three or more years of relevant HR administrative work experience.
  • Excellent computer skills, including word processing, database management, and spreadsheet analysis.
  • Strong preference for prior experience with Taleo, PeopleSoft, and Kronos software.
  • General knowledge of payroll processing, new hire onboarding, FMLA, and benefits administration.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
