Position Overview

Eligible new hires may receive a sign-on bonus of $2,000, contingent upon having at least 2 years of cashiering experience.
  • 25% after 90 days
  • 25% after 180 days
  • 50% after 1 year
Job Summary
Compensation starts at $17/hour plus tips. This role involves managing the sale and redemption of gaming chips, processing marketing redemptions, and handling various cash transactions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct cash transactions while providing courteous and professional assistance to customers.
  • Accurately count, record, and manage assigned funds, ensuring proper exchanges throughout the shift.
  • Maintain a balanced cash drawer and secure all casino funds when not in use.
  • Verify and document identification for cash advance and check transactions.
  • Adhere to all company policies, gaming regulations, and federal laws, including AML compliance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficient in handling large amounts of cash.
  • Basic computer and keyboarding skills are necessary.
  • Prior experience in cashiering or banking is preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain a valid state gaming license.
  • Effective communication skills regarding events and services available to guests.
  • Maintain a friendly demeanor and ensure a safe, clean work environment.
  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to thirty (30) pounds; requires reaching, bending, and manual dexterity.
  • Utilization of a computer, jet sorter, calculator, and telephone.
  • Effective communication with guests and staff in English.
  • Normal vision and hearing capabilities are required.
  • Familiarity with and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Work in a casino environment with exposure to bright lights, noise, and varying temperatures.
