Position Overview We are excited to offer a competitive sign-on bonus for qualified candidates with a minimum of 2 years of cashiering experience.
- Eligible candidates can receive a $2,000 sign-on bonus, distributed as follows:
- 25% after 90 days
- 25% after 180 days
- 50% after 1 year
Compensation starts at $17/hour plus tips. This role involves managing the sale and redemption of gaming chips, processing marketing redemptions, and handling various cash transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct cash transactions and address customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Accurately count and document assigned funds, ensuring proper exchanges throughout your shift.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer and secure all casino funds when not in use.
- Verify and document identification for check and cash advance transactions.
- Adhere to all company operating procedures, gaming regulations, and federal laws, including compliance with AML regulations.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Comfortable managing large amounts of cash.
- Proficient in computer and keyboard skills.
- Previous experience in cashiering or banking is preferred.
- Must be able to obtain a valid state gaming license.
- Ability to communicate effectively about events and services available to guests.
- Maintain a friendly demeanor and ensure a safe and clean work environment.
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to thirty (30) pounds and perform reaching and bending tasks.
- Utilize a computer, jet sorter, calculator, and telephone.
- Communicate effectively with guests, management, and staff in English.
- Normal vision and hearing capabilities are required.
- Work in a casino environment with exposure to bright lights, noise, and varying temperatures.
