Job Overview SIGN-ON BONUS FOR ELIGIBLE NEW HIRES
$2,000 sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates with 2+ years of cashiering experience.
- 25% after 90 days
- 25% after 180 days
- 50% after 1 year
Responsible for managing the sale and redemption of gaming chips, marketing vouchers, ticket transactions, and various cash operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct various cash transactions while providing courteous and professional assistance to customers.
- Accurately count and document assigned funds, ensuring proper exchanges throughout the shift.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer and secure all casino funds when not in use.
- Verify and record personal identification for check and cash advance transactions.
- Adhere to all company policies, gaming regulations, and federal laws, including AML compliance.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Comfortable managing large amounts of cash.
- Proficient in computer and keyboarding skills.
- Prior experience in cashiering or banking is preferred.
- Must be able to obtain a valid state gaming license.
- Ability to effectively communicate events, promotions, and services to guests.
- Maintain a friendly demeanor and ensure a safe, clean work environment.
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Requires lifting up to thirty (30) pounds; involves reaching, bending, and manual dexterity.
- Utilization of a computer, jet sorter, calculator, and telephone.
- Communicate directly and electronically with guests, management, and staff in English.
- Normal vision and hearing capabilities are necessary.
- Understand and comply with policies, procedures, and job descriptions.
- Work in a casino environment with exposure to bright lights, noise, and varying temperatures.
