The University of Cincinnati is seeking a highly qualified candidate for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Sport Administration position in the School of Human Services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain an active research agenda in the sport administration or related field, including publications, presentations, and grant writing.
- Teach a diverse range of undergraduate, master's, and doctoral courses in sport marketing, sport public relations, sales, management, sport finance, sport governance, ethical issues in sport, sport analytics, and sport law.
- Advise graduate students, guide dissertation research, and serve on doctoral committees.
- Contribute to program growth and development, including curriculum and degree planning.
- Engage in university, professional, and community service, including peer reviewing for journals and service on workgroups of professional organizations.
- Doctorate in Sport Administration or a related field.
- A clear and active research agenda, as evidenced by a peer-reviewed publication and a professional presentation in Sport Administration or a related field.
- Experience teaching at least one undergraduate or graduate sport administration course.
