Position Overview

All Care Therapies is actively seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to become a vital part of our team within a home health environment. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to an expanding therapy team, particularly focused on providing exceptional care for pediatric patients facing various challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate physical conditions, limitations, medical histories, and personal objectives.
  • Assess patients' strength, range of motion, neurological status, balance, and mobility.
  • Deliver direct patient care under physician supervision.
  • Develop and revise treatment plans, measuring patients' strength and flexibility.
  • Collaborate with physicians, patients, families, nurses, therapists, social workers, and other care team members.
  • Create tailored treatment plans with specific goals to enhance patients' functional abilities.
  • Guide patients through exercises aimed at improving daily function and alleviating discomfort.
  • Evaluate patients' home or work environments to recommend necessary adjustments.
  • Educate families on how to support and accommodate their loved ones' needs.
  • Monitor patient progress towards goals and prepare reports for healthcare providers and insurance entities.
  • Ensure timely completion of clinical documentation using the company’s electronic medical record system.
  • Participate in meetings and case discussions to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care strategies.
  • Supervise physical therapy assistants and aides.

Qualifications:

  • Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Current and valid NV Physical Therapy license or eligibility to apply.
  • Preferred: Minimum one year of experience in pediatric physical therapy.
  • Commitment to ongoing education requirements.
  • Valid state driver's license and auto insurance.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
