Exceptional Opportunity to Join Our Expanding Pediatric Emergency Team
Key Responsibilities
Sunrise Children's Hospital is seeking a BC/BE Pediatrician to collaborate in the Emergency Room alongside a PEMs physician.
- Our unit experiences a high volume of cases, approximately 50,000 annually.
- You will apply your comprehensive training to address a diverse array of medical conditions.
- We encourage proactive discussions and solutions; every team member's input is valued.
- We host multiple residency programs (Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, and Family Practice), a Pediatric ER Fellowship Program, and a PA externship program.
- Teaching opportunities are available based on your interest and availability.
- Our staffing levels ensure adequate coverage within the unit.
- Subspecialty support includes Neurosurgery, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Infectious Disease, Orthopedics, Neonatology, Intensive Care, Cardiovascular Intensive Care, Hospitalists, Cardiology, and we are expanding to include Hematology-Oncology.
- Full-time commitment is 12 shifts per month, with consideration for a 0.75 FTE option that includes benefits such as Health, Dental, Vision, Matching 401k, Employee Assistance Program, Continuing Medical Education, and coverage for boards, licenses, ACLS, PALS, NRP, AAP, etc.
- The Associate Medical Director manages the scheduling and serves as the Vice Chair of Pediatrics.
- We have a dedicated and engaged team of Residency and Fellowship Directors.
- This is a supportive environment where hard work is recognized, and collaboration among Pediatricians, PAs, NPs, scribes, and Child Life specialists is encouraged.

Qualifications
BC/BE Pediatrician
To qualify for this role, candidates should have recent hospital experience, ideally fresh out of residency or currently practicing as a Pediatrician in an Emergency setting.
