The estimated annual salary range for this position is $107,300 - $160,900, with a base salary determined by scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.

**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity System Safety Specialist to join our team of passionate professionals in Advanced Weapons. As an integral part of our multi-discipline engineering team, you will be on the forefront of developing next-generation solutions to protect technology for our nation's warfighter.

The ideal candidate will support one of our Advanced Programs as the lead for defining and architecting a secured missile weapon system. This position will require close collaboration with team members of other projects within the organization for security architecture designs as well as external partners and customers.

You will apply system safety engineering principles to develop safety documentation in accordance with MIL-STD-882E, such as SSPP, PHA, FHA, SHA/SuSHA, Bent Pin Analyses, FTA, SAR, and Software Safety Analyses.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field with 5 years of experience or Master's degree with 3 years of experience.
  • Familiarity with electrical circuit design and application of MIL-STD-882E to analyze, recommend, and drive safety into system design, equipment, and procedures.
  • Experience documenting hazards with a closed-loop Hazard Tracking System (HTS).
  • Demonstrated ability to apply system safety engineering principles to develop safety documentation.
  • History of demonstrated leadership capabilities, ability to work independently, and effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
