Clinical Technology Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Technology Specialist to join our operations team at ForTec Medical. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical support to surgeons and staff in the operating room, ensuring the safe and effective use of medical devices and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain surgical lasers and other medical devices, providing technical guidance to surgeons and staff as needed.
- Perform pre-operative checklists, sterilization, and calibration of medical equipment, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Review patient procedure requirements with surgeons and staff, ensuring accurate and timely preparation for each case.
- Conduct medical equipment inventories and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal device performance.
- Practice safe vehicle operations, safe workplace practices, and laser safety techniques, adhering to company policies and industry standards.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and customer service skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn company software and systems.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
- Competitive hourly rate: $22-$28 per hour, depending on experience.
